Fall Fashion Inspirations.... {Sunday Morning Armchair Tour}

Posted on

On Sunday morning (following our cozy dinner party-more on that to come)
I felt a little decadent and took some downtime to
catch up on my fashion reading and coffee.
Vogue was my magazine of choice and
Starbucks French roast (yes, cream please!)
 was my coffee.

Isn't this Dolce & Gabana advertisement above fab? Nothing like a red lace coat and all those
Italian men enjoying your fashion scene.

This gorgeous DKNY draped dress caught my eye.
DKNY is another designer who really knows how to dress a woman's shape.
The draping is perfect and this smokey shade is smoldering.

A wrap dress is on my list this season. It's important to select one that is holds it's shape with good quality fabric. This DVF number is a perfect graphic print version.

This camel coat from Massimmo Dutti caught my eye. I remember shopping this. boutique in Italy and picked up several good quality pieces. This coat can be worn with or without the belt.

This Celine reminds me why I adore winter white. I'm noticing the cut and asymmetrical
lines of the sweater. Cozy and chic!

Another stylish version of the asymmetrical hem in a sweater from Eileen Fisher.
Love this look and it's perfect for layering.

Yes, I'm seeing animal print everywhere this season too.
It's fine by me-I never find it to go out of style.
This is another super stylish and yet wearable look from DVF.

Blues are looking bold and beautiful again. I'm even dipping into a little navy with a couple of pieces this season. My new navy sweater looks perfect with a crisp white blouse
(I'd take a pic but I'm so comfortable here with my coffee).

Is it just me or are many of us going with shorter hair styles for fall?
I love this look with a side swept part and loose waves. I've definitely looped off a few inches already this season and this photo is going with me to my next hair stylist appointment.

This chin length bob on Nicole Kidman looks sleek and modern.

Michael Kors is doing makeup. I've been a big fan of his other designs (and his fragrance)
so I'll have to give this new line a try.
This shade looks so pretty. I love a nude lip.

That's my armchair tour of 'strike my fancy' fall fashions.
I kept it simple and snapped away on my iPhone. Thanks for bearing with me,
it was a lazy Sunday morning after all and I was still in my jammies.

I love it when you stop by and we can share coffee and fashion on a Sunday morning.
What are you looking for in your fall fashion this season?
