The Best of the Worst About Aging....and a hot new collection for winter #warbyparker

Posted on

The worst thing about getting older is my declining visual acuity. It started with that trip to Paris when I was 43. I was frustrated that I couldn't read 'le crazy' French map. My husband handed me his reading glasses and-voila-I could see clearly again, but was shocked to actually be in need of the reading glasses.

I have some good news though...the glasses have gotten so much better looking lately.
I noticed the brand, Warby Parker, a year ago with their fresh look and fun advertising campaigns.

Vintage styling with a contemporary edge.

When Warby Parker approached me about reviewing their Winter Collection I was excited.
Warby Parker is a standout brand due to their cool styling and their
'buy a pair/give a pair' policy here
They just reached over 500,000 pairs of glasses given to those in need.
That impresses me and makes me want to be part of their effort
to share the vision.

'Warby Parker was founded with a rebellious spirit and a lofty objective: to create boutique-quality, classically crafted eye wear at a revolutionary price point.'
My pick for reading glasses this season-The Winston here.

Or maybe.........
Beckett Driftwood Eyeglasses
The Beckett here

Warby Parker has options for both reading and sunglasses.

The Robinson  here is my pic for statement for sun wear -winter or summer.
(A little lipstick with these shades and you have your whole look made in a flash!)

Need some options?
Home try on innovations here which is visionary.

And for him,
the one who first offered me his reading glasses back in Paris......
Scott's choices
The Crane here
Wilkie Greystone Eyeglasses
The Wilkie here
Seymour Tennessee Whiskey Eyeglasses
The Wiloughby here

There are so many chic styles it's hard to choose......
but choose we will.
It feels good to have  these stylish, well-priced options and for such a good cause.
Thank you Warby Parker!

Today I'm joining the 'How I Wore My' series with Adrienne here and Jill here.
Congrats on your second anniversary of the series!
The theme is jeans this month and for more on how I styled mine here
I love the fashionable inspiration of pairing up with bloggers from around the world each month.

I can see clearly now....
can you?

Thanks for stopping by!

(This is not a sponsored post-I was contacted by Warby Parker and agreed to review styles for their Winter Collection.
I appreciate the concept, styling and philanthropic emphasis of the Warby Parker Brand and chose to write this post)
